The iMaven Astronomy Olympiad (iMAO) is organized by the iMaven Astronomy Academy, under the aegis of iMaven Foundation and Maanasdhara Trust for Educational & Social Research and Training. The olympiad is designed to foster scientific curiosity and academic excellence in STEM subjects among students and lifelong learners around the world.

Open to participants across all education boards, and academic backgrounds, iMAO offers a structured, inclusive, and enriching experience that encourages critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the universe.

For the 2025 edition, iMAO introduces a revamped format to offer greater flexibility and broader participation:

• Two-tier structure: Mains and Advanced Levels

• Mains Level includes two online phases — participants may attempt either or both

• Advanced Level is open to top performers from Mains

All registered participants receive free access to the iMaven Live Portal — a rich digital learning environment featuring videos, simulations, and a curated astronomy library to support Olympiad preparation.
